The 13th annual Central New York Brewfest is set for Saturday, January 31, 2009. This year we have a 55 passenger bus reserved.
Our meeting place in Lansing will be Todd's Beach House (1928 E. Shore Dr.), where the bar will be open for business, and we'll plan to leave around 11:30 a.m. We need to limit the number of parking spaces used to six (6), and please park towards the rear of the establishment, as parking is limited. There is ample parking available across the road in the Lansing Plaza parking lot.
Those interested in one of our alternate pick-ups should park in Dryden in the outer lot of the Dryden Fire Department (the bus will promptly leave at 11:50 a.m.) or in Cortland behind Doug's Fish Fry in the Cortlandville Plaza (the bus will promptly leave at 12:10 p.m.).
We will make our way up to the NYS Fairgrounds and drink, drink, drink from 1-4 p.m. After that, we will head to Spaghetti Warehouse for dinner (crisp house salad, freshly baked sourdough bread, unlimited soft drinks/water and your choice of entree: Spaghetti Feast, Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiana, or Lasagne Platter). After dinner, we will make our way back home (approximately 9 p.m.).
As in past years, we are allowed to bring food and drinks on the bus (NO GLASS!). Please feel free to bring drinks or munchies. We will bring garbage bags with us to collect the trash. Please remember that the cleaning deposit ($200) for the bus is not included in the price for the trip, so we all need to do our part to keep it clean (we don't want to have to add on extra charges!). If you are the cause of the mess, you will be expected to pay for it.
The price of the trip is $65/person and includes bus transportation and tip for the bus driver, brewfest admission tickets, and dinner (includes tax and gratuity).
We need to start collecting this money ASAP. Once we receive your payment, you are guaranteed a seat (please make sure to give us the names of everyone in your party). In order to cover the costs of the trip, we will not be able to provide refunds. If you are unable to participate in the trip, please let us know and we will offer your seat(s) to people on our waiting list. In the event that we don't have a waiting list, you are welcome to sell your seat to somebody else. If you should sell your seat to someone else, let us know, so that we know who to expect on the day of the trip.
Remember...trip is first-paid, first-served.
